Korina is a Reiki Therapist and Alternative Healer.

Trained in both  Japanese and Western Usui Lineages in Reiki as a Body-Mind Therapist.

From a young age I have felt a deep connection towards animals and the earth, always finding comfort in nature, in life's ups and downs. I felt an unexplainable connection I could never quite put into words. My love for animals slowly put me on the path of veganism -during my last years of school and then art studies- which turned into a fun and passion filled adventure.

I thought I had it all figured out after studying art and design and then getting a degree in womenswear knitwear design. The plan was to get my dream job in the industry and work my way up from there. Little did I know then that I would end up running a vegan business alongside spiritual healing work.

Everything seemed to go to plan until somehow I ended up in an emotionally abusive relationship. I had no idea that, this is what that was at the time. Coming out of it I felt completely disconnected to myself and my purpose. I felt betrayed and angry, totally confused and incredibly sad and heartbroken. I recovered, or thought I did, by denying all the emotions and without knowing, buried them all as deep as they would go.

Reiki found me through a loving friend years later. I didn't choose this path to heal myself, honestly, I thought there was nothing wrong with me, yet so many aspects of my life were't working out and I could not figure out why. My relationships felt incomplete, my finances were a rollercoaster and my work was damaging my health.

The best way I can describe the process of Reiki is, that it is like a wave that washes over and through you, to completely shift and unclog old energy. I cannot say it has been an easy process, but it has been (and is) worth everything. It has helped me focus myself back on what's important to me. It has helped me shift out of financial nightmares, hectic schedules as well as disordered eating patterns. It pushed me to get brutally honest with myself and see the, often not so pretty, reality of my ways.  I can now see a clearer path towards my goals, my dreams and even my body has transformed in a positive way I am enjoying and can feel grateful for.

Reiki Lineage can be described as the family tree of the type of Reiki each practitioner has been attuned to. All Reiki teachings are traced back to Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki practice, as a healing modality, and spiritual path.

There now exist many Reiki adaptations as practitioners have added or changed techniques throughout the years. The reason for my 'double lineage' is that my teacher's teacher has been attuned to (taught by) both the traditional Japanese as well as the Western techniques. In turn these teachings have both been incorporated in my own learning and passed down from my teacher, Brighitta Moser-Clark.
